WinPenguins is a Win32 rewrite of the X-Windows application XPenguins. It creates cute little penguins that wander around your Windows desktop.

The penguin images were taken from Pingus, a lemmings clone for GNU/Linux.

Screenshots

This is just a normal screenshot of WinPenguins, nothing special.
This is a screenshot of the new alpha blending feature, which results in semi-transparent Ghost penguins!
Santa Penguins is a new 0.5 feature, thanks to Tom Lee.

Downloads

WinPenguins may be redistributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Note: WinPenguins will not work when ActiveDesktop is disabled. This will be fixed in the next version.

If you are running Windows 95 you may need to download mfc42.dll (468k).

Previous versions of WinPenguins can be found here.
